Ingredients
- 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
- 3 tbsp raw honey
- 1/2 cup walnut halves
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1 pinch of flaky salt
- 1 tsp extra honey for drizzling
Instructions
- 1Toast the walnut halves in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes, shaking often, until fragrant and a shade darker. Cool slightly, then roughly chop.
- 2Spoon the Greek yogurt into two shallow bowls and swirl the tops with the back of a spoon to create little wells for the honey.
- 3Warm the honey for 10 to 15 seconds in the microwave or a tiny saucepan just until it loosens and pours in a thin ribbon.
- 4Drizzle most of the honey over the yogurt, letting it pool in the swirls. Reserve a little for the final finish.
- 5Scatter the warm chopped walnuts evenly over both bowls so every bite gets crunch.
- 6Dust lightly with ground cinnamon and sprinkle the orange zest across the surface for bright aroma.
- 7Add a tiny pinch of flaky salt on top; the salt sharpens the honey and balances the tangy yogurt.
- 8Finish with the remaining honey drizzle. Serve immediately while the walnuts are still a little warm against the cold yogurt.
- 9For a muscle-building snack prep, portion yogurt into jars and keep toasted walnuts and honey separate until serving so the nuts stay crisp.
