Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon zest

Instructions

  1. 1Add the Greek yogurt and vanilla whey protein powder to a medium mixing bowl.
  2. 2Whisk vigorously for about 1 minute until the powder fully dissolves and the yogurt turns thick, smooth, and slightly fluffy with no dry clumps.
  3. 3Stir in the chia seeds and ground cinnamon until evenly distributed throughout the yogurt base.
  4. 4Divide the thickened yogurt mixture evenly between two serving bowls, spreading it into an even layer.
  5. 5Rinse the mixed berries under cool water and pat them dry with a clean towel.
  6. 6Scatter the berries generously over the yogurt in each bowl, pressing a few lightly into the surface so they stay put.
  7. 7Sprinkle the sliced almonds and lemon zest across the top of both bowls for crunch and brightness.
  8. 8Drizzle honey lightly over each bowl in a thin zigzag pattern.
  9. 9Serve immediately for peak texture, or cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours for a grab-and-go muscle-building breakfast.
  10. 10If prepping ahead, add the almonds just before eating so they stay crisp.
