Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups chocolate ice cream
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 4 peanut butter cups
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp chopped roasted peanuts
  • 2 tbsp extra chocolate syrup for drizzle

Instructions

  1. 1Place two serving glasses in the freezer to chill while you prep the shake base.
  2. 2Scoop the chocolate ice cream into the blender jar as the foundation.
  3. 3Add the creamy peanut butter so it melts slightly into the cold ice cream for even distribution.
  4. 4Pour the whole milk over everything to loosen the mixture for blending.
  5. 5Drizzle in the chocolate syrup and add the vanilla extract.
  6. 6Roughly chop two of the peanut butter cups and drop them into the blender for melty pockets of candy.
  7. 7Add the ice cubes to create a thick, spoonable texture.
  8. 8Blend on high for 25 to 35 seconds until completely smooth and the peanut butter is fully incorporated with no streaks.
  9. 9Taste and adjust thickness if needed by pulsing briefly with a little more milk or ice cream.
  10. 10Pour the finished shake into the frosted glasses, dividing evenly.
  11. 11Crown each shake with whipped cream, then drizzle extra chocolate syrup in a zigzag pattern.
  12. 12Crush the remaining peanut butter cups and scatter them over the cream along with the chopped roasted peanuts.
  13. 13Serve right away with sturdy straws so every sip delivers peanut-chocolate balance.
