Ingredients

  • 4 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 ripe peaches
  • 2 ripe nectarines
  • 2 ripe plums
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 cups granola (cluster-style)
  • 1/2 cup toasted coconut flakes
  • 1/3 cup shelled pistachios
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch pinch of flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. 1Choose a large wooden board, platter, or sheet pan as your base so guests can build their own parfaits family-style.
  2. 2In a medium bowl, stir the Greek yogurt with the vanilla extract and a generous drizzle of honey until lightly sweetened and smooth; taste and add more honey if desired.
  3. 3Spoon the yogurt into a wide shallow bowl or directly into a generous swoosh down the center of the board so it is easy to scoop.
  4. 4Halve and pit the peaches, nectarines, and plums; cut them into wedges and casual chunks, leaving skins on for color and texture.
  5. 5Arrange the stone-fruit pieces in loose piles and rows the yogurt, mixing colors so the board looks abundant and inviting.
  6. 6Scatter the fresh blueberries in the gaps between the stone fruit for pops of blue and extra sweetness.
  7. 7Stack the basil leaves, roll, and thinly slice into ribbons; sprinkle most of the basil over the fruit and save a few whole small leaves for garnish.
  8. 8Place small bowls or direct piles of granola, toasted coconut flakes, and pistachios on the board so everyone can add crunch.
  9. 9Zest the lemon over the fruit and yogurt, then cut the lemon into wedges and tuck them on the board for squeezing; finish with flaky sea salt over the fruit to heighten sweetness.
  10. 10Drizzle the remaining honey in thin ribbons across the fruit and yogurt just before serving so it glistens.
  11. 11Set out small glasses, jars, or bowls and spoons; invite guests to layer yogurt, fruit, herbs, and crunchy toppings however they like.
  12. 12Serve immediately while the fruit is cool and fragrant; the board can sit out for about 45 minutes at a casual weekend gathering before the yogurt should be chilled again.
