Ingredients
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 8 full sheets graham crackers
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/8 tsp pinch of flaky salt
- 2 tbsp optional peanut butter drizzle
Instructions
- 1Preheat the air fryer to 320°F for 3 minutes while you prep the pan.
- 2Lightly butter a 6- or 7-inch oven-safe skillet or round cake pan that fits inside your air-fryer basket.
- 3Scatter the chocolate chips in an even layer across the bottom of the buttered pan.
- 4Pile the mini marshmallows on top of the chocolate, covering it completely in a generous mound.
- 5Place the pan in the air-fryer basket and cook 4 to 6 minutes, checking at the 4-minute mark, until the marshmallows are deeply golden and the chocolate underneath is melted and glossy.
- 6Carefully remove the hot pan using tongs or oven mitts and let it rest 2 minutes so the molten center thickens slightly.
- 7Sprinkle flaky salt over the toasted marshmallows and, if using, zigzag warm peanut butter across the top.
- 8Break the graham crackers into sturdy dippers and arrange them the skillet.
- 9Serve immediately while the chocolate is still lava-like, instructing everyone to scoop straight from the pan.
- 10If the marshmallows brown too fast, tent loosely with foil for the last minute of air-frying.
- 11Leftovers reheat in the air fryer at 300°F for 90 seconds to restore the gooey texture.
