Ingredients
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 1/2 tsp ceremonial or culinary matcha powder
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp pinch of salt
- 1 cup mixed fresh strawberries and blueberries
- 2 tbsp sliced almonds or granola
Instructions
- 1In a small bowl or liquid measuring cup, whisk the matcha powder with milk until completely smooth and free of lumps—this prevents bitter clumps later.
- 2In a medium mixing bowl combine the rolled oats, remaining milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, dissolved matcha mixture, chia seeds, vanilla, and salt. Stir vigorously for a full minute until everything is evenly green and the chia is distributed.
- 3Divide the mixture evenly between two 12-ounce jars or airtight containers. Smooth the tops, seal, and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight (up to 3 days). The oats will soften and the chia will thicken the mixture into a pudding-like texture.
- 4In the morning, give each jar a good stir. If the oats seem too thick, loosen with an extra splash of milk until creamy and spoonable.
- 5Top each jar with a generous handful of fresh strawberries and blueberries plus a sprinkle of sliced almonds or granola for crunch.
- 6Eat straight from the jar cold, or microwave 45–60 seconds if you prefer them warm. The bright matcha flavor and creamy texture make these feel special even on rushed weekdays.
