
Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
Instructions
- 1Pat the steak dry with paper towels and cut into 1-inch cubes.
- 2In a small bowl, combine kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- 3Season the steak cubes evenly with the spice mixture.
- 4Mince the garlic cloves and chop the fresh parsley; set aside.
- 5Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat for 2 minutes.
- 6Add the olive oil and swirl to coat the pan.
- 7Add the steak bites in a single layer (work in batches if needed) and sear undisturbed for 1 minute.
- 8Flip the bites and cook for another 1–2 minutes until browned on all sides but still pink in the center for medium-rare.
- 9Remove steak to a plate and reduce heat to medium.
- 10Add the butter to the skillet; once melted, stir in the minced garlic and thyme.
- 11Cook the garlic butter for 30–45 seconds until fragrant, then return the steak bites to the pan.
- 12Toss everything together for 30 seconds to coat in the garlic butter.
- 13Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
