Honey-Seared Pears with Toasted Oats

Honey-Seared Pears with Toasted Oats

Butter-seared pear wedges lacquered with honey, finished with toasted oats and a bright pinch of white pepper. Echoing Cod Hung Above Bryggen, it sweetens a Hanseatic table after mallet-and-soak labor over wind-cured stockfish hard as lumber.
