
Ghee-Toasted Flatbread with Spiced Yogurt and Honey

Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk yogurt
- 1 1/2 cups basmati rice flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 6 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
Instructions
- 1Mix basmati rice flour, all-purpose flour, salt, and cardamom in a bowl. Slowly add warm water and ghee until a soft dough forms. Knead 5 minutes then rest covered for 15 minutes.
- 2Divide dough into 8 balls and roll each into a 6-inch round on a lightly floured surface.
- 3Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high. Brush one side of each flatbread with ghee and cook 2 minutes until bubbles appear. Flip, brush top with ghee, and cook 1-2 minutes more until golden and toasted.
- 4Whisk yogurt with remaining cardamom, cumin, black pepper, and salt. Spread spiced yogurt on warm flatbreads and drizzle with honey before serving.
