Ingredients

  • 1 lb ziti or penne pastaPantry
  • 1 lb Italian sausage or ground beefMeat
  • 4 cups marinara saucePantry
  • 15 oz ricotta cheeseDairy

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan, gratedDairy

Instructions

  1. 1Heat oven to 375°F. Cook pasta 2 minutes under; drain. Brown sausage with garlic.
  2. 2Mix ricotta with egg, half the Parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
  3. 3Toss pasta with most of the marinara and meat. Layer pasta, ricotta, mozzarella in a 9x13-inch dish; end with sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  4. 4Bake covered 20 minutes; uncover 10–15 minutes until browned. Rest 10 minutes.
