Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • 12 oz sliced roasted turkey breast
  • 8 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 3 cups romaine hearts, chopped
  • 2 roma tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1.5 Tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1–2 Tbsp chipotle in adobo, minced
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Arrange bacon in a single layer on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet. Bake at 400°F for 14–18 minutes until deeply crisp and rendered; transfer to a paper-towel-lined plate and blot excess fat.
  2. 2In a small bowl whisk mayonnaise, maple syrup, minced chipotle, lime juice, salt, and pepper until smooth and smoky-sweet; taste and add more chipotle if you want extra heat.
  3. 3Warm tortillas one at a time in a dry skillet over medium heat for 20–30 seconds per side until soft and flexible; keep stacked under a clean towel so they stay pliable.
  4. 4Spread chipotle-maple mayo evenly over each tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border.
  5. 5Layer turkey slices down the center of each tortilla, then add two bacon strips broken to fit, avocado slices, chopped romaine, tomato slices, and a sprinkle of shredded cheddar.
  6. 6Fold the short sides of the tortilla inward over the filling, then roll tightly from the bottom up like a burrito, tucking as you go so the wrap stays compact.
  7. 7If packing ahead, wrap each roll snugly in parchment or foil and refrigerate up to 24 hours; the maple-chipotle sauce keeps the turkey moist without sogging the tortilla quickly.
  8. 8Just before eating, slice each wrap in half on a sharp diagonal to show the layers, and serve with any remaining sauce for dipping.
