Ingredients

  • 4 (6 oz each) salmon fillets skin-on
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce or tamari
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp combined optional sesame seeds and sliced green onion for finish

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 425°F and line a large rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. 2Pat salmon fillets dry and place them skin-side down on one side of the prepared pan.
  3. 3In a small bowl whisk together soy sauce and honey until smooth to make the glaze.
  4. 4Toss broccoli florets with sesame oil and a spoonful of the glaze so they are lightly coated; spread them in a single layer on the empty side of the pan.
  5. 5Brush or spoon half the remaining glaze generously over the tops of the salmon fillets.
  6. 6Roast for 10 minutes.
  7. 7Remove pan, brush salmon with the rest of the glaze, and toss the broccoli. Return to oven for 6–8 minutes more until salmon flakes easily at 145°F and broccoli is tender-crisp with charred edges.
  8. 8Let rest 2 minutes on the pan.
  9. 9If using, sprinkle sesame seeds and green onion over everything.
  10. 10Serve each fillet with a generous portion of the roasted broccoli and any pan juices spooned over.
