Ingredients
- 2 cups plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1 1/2 cups fresh mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tbsp sliced almonds
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp fresh lemon zest
- 1 tsp honey
Instructions
- 1Add the Greek yogurt to a medium mixing bowl and whisk briefly until smooth and creamy.
- 2Sprinkle in the protein powder and pour in the almond milk, then whisk vigorously until no dry clumps remain and the mixture looks silky.
- 3Fold in the chia seeds and cinnamon until evenly distributed; let the bowl sit 2 minutes so the seeds begin to swell.
- 4Rinse and gently pat the berries dry, then slice any large strawberries into bite-size pieces.
- 5Divide the yogurt base evenly between two serving bowls.
- 6Arrange the mixed berries over the top in a generous layer.
- 7Scatter the sliced almonds and lemon zest across both bowls.
- 8Drizzle a thin ribbon of honey over each bowl just before serving.
- 9Serve immediately chilled, or cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours for meal-prep mornings; stir once before eating if the chia has thickened further.
