Ingredients
- 2 (100 g each) frozen unsweetened acai puree packets
- 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries
- 1 large frozen banana
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup granola
- 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp almond butter
Instructions
- 1Run the sealed acai packets under warm water for 10 seconds to loosen, then break into chunks. Add the acai, frozen mixed berries, frozen banana, almond milk, protein powder if using, and honey to a high-speed blender.
- 2Blend on low, then ramp to high, stopping to scrape down the sides and tamping as needed, until ultra-thick and spoonable like soft-serve—about 45–60 seconds. Add a splash more milk only if the blades stall; the mixture should hold peaks.
- 3Divide the thick smoothie base between two shallow bowls, spreading it evenly with the back of a spoon and creating a slight well in the center if desired.
- 4Artfully arrange the fresh strawberry slices and blueberries in rows or clusters on top. Sprinkle granola and coconut flakes over half of each bowl for crunch.
- 5Drizzle each bowl with a tablespoon of almond butter (warm it 10 seconds in the microwave if too stiff) and finish with chia seeds. Serve immediately with a spoon before it melts.
