Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe peaches
  • 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granola
  • 1/2 cup fresh peach slices
  • 2 Tbsp toasted sliced almonds
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • optional garnish fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. 1Pit two of the peaches and roughly chop the flesh; leave the third peach for fresh topping slices.
  2. 2Add the chopped peaches, cottage cheese, frozen banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, protein powder, honey, and cinnamon to a high-speed blender.
  3. 3Blend on high until completely smooth and thick, 45 to 60 seconds, scraping down the sides once if needed. The mixture should be spoonable, not pourable.
  4. 4Taste and adjust sweetness with a drizzle more honey if the peaches are tart.
  5. 5Divide the thick smoothie base between two chilled bowls, using the back of a spoon to create a shallow well in the center.
  6. 6Arrange fresh peach slices in a fan pattern on one side of each bowl.
  7. 7Sprinkle granola, toasted almonds, and chia seeds over the remaining surface so every bite has crunch.
  8. 8Finish with a few torn mint leaves if using and serve immediately with a spoon while the base is still cold and creamy.
