Ingredients

  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1½ cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 scoops (about 60 g) vanilla whey protein powder
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh mixed berries
  • 1 pinch pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. 1Set out four clean 12-ounce jars or meal-prep containers with tight lids so the oats can chill evenly overnight.
  2. 2In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, and almond milk. Stir vigorously until the cottage cheese breaks down and the mixture looks creamy and uniform.
  3. 3Add the protein powder, chia seeds, honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk thoroughly so no dry pockets of powder remain and the chia is fully distributed.
  4. 4Taste the base and adjust sweetness with a little more honey if needed; the mixture should taste lightly sweet and pleasantly thick.
  5. 5Divide the oat mixture evenly among the four jars, leaving a little headspace at the top for berries.
  6. 6Scatter the fresh berries over each portion, gently pressing a few into the surface so they nestle in.
  7. 7Seal the jars and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight until the oats soften and the chia gels into a spoonable pudding texture.
  8. 8In the morning, give each jar a quick stir. If the oats seem too thick, loosen with a splash of cold almond milk until creamy again.
  9. 9Serve chilled straight from the jar, or warm gently in the microwave for 45–60 seconds if you prefer a hot breakfast.
  10. 10Store sealed jars in the refrigerator up to 4 days for grab-and-go high-protein mornings.
