Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp ceremonial or culinary matcha powder
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp pinch of salt
  • 1 cup mixed fresh strawberries and blueberries
  • 2 tbsp sliced almonds or granola

Instructions

  1. 1In a small bowl or liquid measuring cup, whisk the matcha powder with milk until completely smooth and free of lumps—this prevents bitter clumps later.
  2. 2In a medium mixing bowl combine the rolled oats, remaining milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, dissolved matcha mixture, chia seeds, vanilla, and salt. Stir vigorously for a full minute until everything is evenly green and the chia is distributed.
  3. 3Divide the mixture evenly between two 12-ounce jars or airtight containers. Smooth the tops, seal, and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight (up to 3 days). The oats will soften and the chia will thicken the mixture into a pudding-like texture.
  4. 4In the morning, give each jar a good stir. If the oats seem too thick, loosen with an extra splash of milk until creamy and spoonable.
  5. 5Top each jar with a generous handful of fresh strawberries and blueberries plus a sprinkle of sliced almonds or granola for crunch.
  6. 6Eat straight from the jar cold, or microwave 45–60 seconds if you prefer them warm. The bright matcha flavor and creamy texture make these feel special even on rushed weekdays.
