Cream-Poured Cinnamon Roll Cobbler Bake
A modern American brunch bake borrows cobbler spirit by pouring heavy cream over quartered cinnamon-roll dough so it soaks and sets custardy in the oven. Brown sugar, cinnamon, and the reserved icing finish the pull-apart sweetness.

Ingredients
- 2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough with icing
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/8 tsp pinch of salt
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish so the cobbler releases cleanly after baking.
- 2Open the cinnamon roll cans and separate the rolls, then cut each roll into quarters so you have bite-size dough pieces ready to scatter.
- 3Scatter the dough pieces evenly across the prepared dish, leaving small gaps so the cream can pour through and soak every layer.
- 4In a medium bowl whisk the eggs until smooth, then whisk in the heavy cream, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, and salt until the mixture looks silky and fully combined.
- 5Slowly pour the cream mixture evenly over the dough pieces, tilting the pan gently so liquid settles into every corner and coats the tops.
- 6Let the dish sit on the counter for 5 minutes so the dough begins to absorb the custard before it hits the heat.
- 7Bake uncovered for 28 to 35 minutes, until the tops are deep golden, the centers look set rather than wet, and a knife inserted near the middle comes out mostly clean.
- 8While the cobbler is still hot, warm the included icing packets briefly in a cup of hot water, then drizzle the icing in ribbons across the surface.
- 9Rest the bake for 8 to 10 minutes so the cream sets into a spoonable custard layer under the cinnamon rolls.
- 10Cut into squares and serve warm, scooping from the bottom so each portion gets both fluffy roll and creamy pour.
