Ingredients

  • 3 large frozen ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1 fresh banana slices
  • 1/3 cup granola
  • 2 tbsp roasted peanuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp extra peanut butter for drizzle

Instructions

  1. 1Add the frozen bananas, peanut butter, milk, Greek yogurt, honey, flaxseed, and ice to a high-powered blender.
  2. 2Blend on high, stopping to scrape the sides as needed, until the mixture is extremely thick, creamy, and spoonable like soft-serve.
  3. 3If the blender stalls, add just a splash more milk and pulse again; keep the texture dense so it holds toppings.
  4. 4Divide the smoothie base between two chilled bowls, smoothing the tops with the back of a spoon.
  5. 5Arrange fresh banana slices in a neat row across each bowl.
  6. 6Scatter granola and chopped roasted peanuts over the surface for crunch.
  7. 7Sprinkle chia seeds lightly across the top.
  8. 8Warm the extra peanut butter for a few seconds so it becomes pourable, then drizzle it in zigzags over both bowls.
  9. 9Serve immediately with a spoon while the base is still frosty and thick.
  10. 10Enjoy as a filling breakfast or post-workout treat that puts peanut butter front and center.
