Ingredients
- 1 lb (store-bought or homemade, at room pizza dough
- 4 oz (thinly sliced) salami
- 4 oz (thinly sliced) ham or capicola
- 6 oz (thinly sliced) provolone cheese
- 1 cup (shredded) mozzarella cheese
- 1 large (beaten, for egg wash) egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup (for serving) marinara sauce
Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2On a lightly floured surface, roll the pizza dough into a large rectangle about 12x16 inches.
- 3Layer the salami slices evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border on all sides.
- 4Add a layer of ham or capicola over the salami.
- 5Arrange the provolone slices on top of the meats.
- 6Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the provolone.
- 7Season with garlic powder and dried oregano.
- 8Starting from one long side, tightly roll the dough into a log, tucking in the fillings as you go. Pinch the seam and ends to seal.
- 9Place the rolled stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- 10Brush the top with the beaten egg wash.
- 11Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
- 12Bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
- 13Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into 1-inch pieces.
- 14Serve warm with warm marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
