  • 1 cup (shredded) mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large (beaten, for egg wash) egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup (for serving) marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2On a lightly floured surface, roll the pizza dough into a large rectangle about 12x16 inches.
  3. 3Layer the salami slices evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border on all sides.
  4. 4Add a layer of ham or capicola over the salami.
  5. 5Arrange the provolone slices on top of the meats.
  6. 6Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the provolone.
  7. 7Season with garlic powder and dried oregano.
  8. 8Starting from one long side, tightly roll the dough into a log, tucking in the fillings as you go. Pinch the seam and ends to seal.
  9. 9Place the rolled stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  10. 10Brush the top with the beaten egg wash.
  11. 11Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  12. 12Bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
  13. 13Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into 1-inch pieces.
  14. 14Serve warm with warm marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
