Overnight Oats with Berries

Overnight Oats with Berries

  • 2 cups milk (dairy or almond)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 tsp salt

  1. 1In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, and salt.
  2. 2Add the milk, Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract to the bowl.
  3. 3Stir everything together until well combined and the mixture is smooth.
  4. 4Gently fold in half of the blueberries and sliced strawberries, reserving the rest for topping.
  5. 5Divide the oat mixture evenly among 4 mason jars or airtight containers (per jar).
  6. 6Top each jar with the remaining berries, pressing them slightly into the surface.
  7. 7Seal the jars tightly with lids.
  8. 8Refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours to allow the oats to soften and flavors to meld.
  9. 9In the morning, give each jar a quick stir if desired, and enjoy cold straight from the fridge.
  10. 10Optional: drizzle a little extra honey on top before serving for added sweetness.
