Cassoeula

From Lombardy’s winter kitchens, cassoeula is a slow-simmered pork-and-cabbage stew once tied to thrifty use of the whole pig. Ribs, sausage, and Savoy cabbage melt together in one pot, classically spooned over soft polenta.
