Carbonade Valdostana

Carbonade Valdostana

From Italy’s alpine Aosta Valley comes carbonade valdostana, beef slowly braised with onions in full-bodied red wine. Fragrant with rosemary and bay, it is classically served over soft polenta for a deep, comforting mountain dinner.
