Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz each) salmon fillets, skin-on or skinless
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
- 1 large lemon, sliced into thin rounds plus extra wedges
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a large rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper or lightly oil it for easy cleanup.
- 2Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them on one side of the sheet pan. Toss the broccoli florets with most of the olive oil on the other side, spreading them in a single layer so they roast instead of steam.
- 3Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the salmon. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning generously over both the fish and the broccoli, pressing lightly so it adheres.
- 4Tuck thin lemon slices under and on top of each salmon fillet so the citrus steams into the fish as it cooks.
- 5Roast on the center rack for 12 to 15 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches 145°F in the thickest part and the broccoli is tender-crisp with browned edges.
- 6If you want extra color on the broccoli, switch to broil for the final 1 to 2 minutes, watching carefully so the seasoning does not burn.
- 7Remove the pan from the oven and let the salmon rest 2 minutes. Squeeze fresh lemon wedges over everything right before plating.
- 8Serve straight from the sheet pan for a true five-ingredient weeknight dinner with almost no dishes.
