ThemedBreakfastAmericanParfaitNo-cookProduce-forward
Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh red or green seedless grapes
- 3 cups plain Greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 pinch pinch of flaky sea salt
Instructions
- 1Rinse the grapes under cool water and pat them completely dry with a clean kitchen towel so they stay bright and firm.
- 2Halve the larger grapes so every bite releases juicy flavor; leave smaller ones whole for texture contrast.
- 3In a medium bowl, stir the Greek yogurt with the honey and lemon zest until the mixture looks silky and lightly sweetened.
- 4Toast the rolled oats and sliced almonds together in a dry skillet over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes, shaking the pan often until the oats smell nutty and the almonds turn pale golden.
- 5Let the toasted oat-almond mixture cool for 2 minutes so it stays crisp when layered.
- 6Spoon a generous base of the honeyed yogurt into each serving bowl.
- 7Scatter a layer of halved grapes over the yogurt, then sprinkle on some of the toasted oats and almonds.
- 8Repeat with another spoonful of yogurt, more grapes, and a final shower of the crunchy topping.
- 9Tear the fresh mint leaves over the tops and finish with a tiny pinch of flaky sea salt to make the fruit pop.
- 10Serve immediately while the grapes are cold and the yogurt is creamy, or chill the bowls for up to 20 minutes if you prefer them extra cold.
